I leave for training camp in 2 weeks! It doesn't feel real!

A lot in my life has changed since I first decided to go to Guatemala, and lately I've honestly been finding it hard to know what to say when people ask why I'm going on the trip. I'm in a time of life right now filled with change and uncertainty. My whole future is open; I feel like I have endless options. And, like with this trip, I'm beginning to question every decision I make. How do I not waste my life? Is a short-term missions trip a waste of my time if it doesn't directly lead to the next step in my future?

At church on Sunday, we sang a song that said, "I will do whatever I can to build that house that holds Your praise." As I sang, I felt the Father tell me that these words are my anthem of purpose for this trip to Guatemala. I'm not fully sure what this means, but I'm excited to see how this is going to play out!

Pray for me, that God continues to give me peace, and that I walk in confidence as I go where I feel God leading.
